Have you heard… Central Auto Racing Boosters Hall of Fame and Museum, Inc. is devoted to “Preserving Racing History”! We are excited in sharing many historical stories, displaying racing artifacts to the public that many would not have seen or heard. We believe our younger generations needs to remember all the men/women who gave so much love for the sport of ‘racing’. Many of them had no money to run to the local part store, he/she had to depend on their creativity of making something work from nothing. Husbands/Wives & children were also loyal to the sport, spending days on the road at a variety of racetracks. Just to be able to watch their love one’s race, run back home – go off to work the next morning – just to be able to repeat the same process the following weekend. This is what Central Auto Racing Boosters Hall of Fame and Museum, Inc. has vowed to do – to share and pass this information on to all. How does Central Auto Racing Boosters Hall of Fame and Museum, Inc. accomplish this task? We achieve this task in multiple ways: Hall of Fame Induction/Banquet: held every year on the first Saturday in March. The Hall of Fame inducts at least 8 nominees who have played a huge part in adding to our racing history. The Legends Picnic: is open to the public and is a way to share a meal with many legends and hear some wonderful stories. On-Site Racing History Exhibits: with every opportunity Central Auto Racing Boosters Hall of Fame and Museum displays to the public racing history with actual artifacts. We are fortunate to have a spot in the Kansas City Automotive Museum in Olathe, KS (that is refreshed every 6 months) showing articles and relics from our history. Plus, we have setup displays at the Worlds of Wheels in Kansas City, MO; as well as setting up a display at different local racetracks. Pop-Up Gatherings: where a number of Hall of Famers will pick a location (restaurant/café) to join forces and meet/entertain the public with tales and autograph signings.
